Do you have to have an Xbox 360 hooked up through a computer to get Mass Effect 2 Collector's Edition content?

I was reading the instructions on how to get the Collector's Edition armor, for Mass Effect 2, and it appears as though I have to have my 360 hooked up to a computer to get the content. Was just wondering if this is the case, or not.Do you have to have an Xbox 360 hooked up through a computer to get Mass Effect 2 Collector's Edition content?
No, it is not the case.

You will need to login to your (ea)bioware account to enable the cerberus network. If you don't have an account you will need to create one. Which can be done from the xbox if memory serves.

Once you have connected you will have access to all the content you have codes for and eventual dlc.Do you have to have an Xbox 360 hooked up through a computer to get Mass Effect 2 Collector's Edition content?
You don't need to be connected to a computer, but you do need to be connected to Xbox Live (a free Silver account is enough) so that you can redeem the code(s) that come with the game. You'll be able to see your account when you sign into EA and Bioware's website, but you don't have to do that.Do you have to have an Xbox 360 hooked up through a computer to get Mass Effect 2 Collector's Edition content?
You have to do it on a computer but not one hooked through your xbox. Just login to masseffect.com and use your EA account (or make one) and go to redeem code. It takes a while to appear it seemed like. I played like four more hours before I finaly heard my new armor in.
