Who do you think will be the main character in Mass Effect 2?

According to Mass Effect 2's teaser trailer, Commander Shepard will be dead in Mass Effect 2. A couple of the games developers have even confirmed this information in a recent interview stating that: "Everything said in the trailer is true..." however they also stated that one should keep their save files from the original game because it will carry over to the sequel in some way. At the end of the trailer when Shepard's death is announced, a geth is seen wearing his armor...what do you think this means?Who do you think will be the main character in Mass Effect 2?
Either the geth will be the new character, or here's my conspiracy theory. The geth have designed a chameleon type robot that can assume the shape and form of anyone and anything. But they were only able to produce one before discoevery of the remote production outpost. The geth hace sent this single bot into enemy territroy as a scout. Who else besides the greatest hero in the universe would he 'replace'? So Shepard is lured to his doom, by a 'replaced' teamate. The geth reveals himself and an epic battle ensues. Shepard is finally killed. But the geth didn't see the security bot that filmed the 'trailer'.

I see the trailer and I am shock to hear that he is dead!!! There are some source that stated he is not died(I hope he isn't dead!!!) If he is, maybe there is a new main character to replace him. I really don't think he is dead, but taken as a hostage!!!!
